Dr. S. Shae Cherrington is a Board Certified Maxillofacial Prosthodontist and Diplomat of the American Board of Prosthodontics. He graduated with High Distinction from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2005 where he earned the Deans Silver Award and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Society. Upon graduating, he entered a prosthodontic residency with the United States Army, completing his specialty training in 2009 and earning board certification by early 2010. Following his residency, Dr. Cherrington spent six years as the Chief of Prosthodontics and Prosthodontic Mentor for the FT Campbell KY 1-year AEGD Residency program where he oversaw the prosthodontic training of 48 residents. In 2015 Dr. Cherrington was accepted and entered into the Maxillofacial Prosthetics Fellowship training program at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio TX where he received further training in oral and facial prosthetic rehabilitation of patients. Dr. Cherrington served as the US Army Prosthodontic Consultant to The Surgeon General, is a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, member of the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics, American Dental Educators Association, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Cherrington will be in our office on certain Fridays every month. We are so excited to have him be a part of our team while he is stationed here at Fort Carson.

Dr. Cherrington grew up in the Mountain West area and is pleased to call Colorado Springs his home now, he has been married to his High School sweetheart for almost 25 years and they have 4 kids. Dr. Cherrington enjoys doing projects around the house and spending time outdoors enjoying what Colorado Springs has to offer, he has been an avid skier since he was a kid and loves any opportunity he can take to get up into the mountains.
