Caley Scott is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Scott developed a passion for naturopathic medicine while working as a medical assistant at an integrative clinic in the Chicago suburbs after completing her bachelor’s degree. Seeing first-hand the incredible success of using nutrition and natural therapies with her patients helped shape her view on healthcare and compelled her to seek a unique route in medicine. Dr. Parisa Samsami is a Chiropractic Physician specializing in Functional Medicine. She has great success in treating patients unable to find answers in the traditional medical paradigm. She places a strong emphasis on patient education and believes that diet and lifestyle play an important role in achieving optimal health and chronic disease prevention.
Dr. Samsami has a special interest in treating GI imbalances, adrenal dysfunction, blood sugar dysregulation, and thyroid dysfunction.
Dr. J. Robinson Alexis was born in Cap-Haitien, Haiti and relocated to the U.S. when he was eight years old. After growing up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida he moved to Illinois to further his education.
On January 10, 2010, a devastating magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti; saddened by this tragic event, Dr. Robinson returned to Haiti to aid relief effort. During his time in Haiti, Dr. Robinson served as a translator for Haitian creole speakers and English speakers. While serving as a translator, Dr. Robinson met a Chiropractic Physician, also there to help relief efforts. Dr. Robinson was inspired by watching him help countless people, while only using his hands.
Upon returning to the States, Dr. Robinson went on to achieve his Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic where he was the president of the Student American Black Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Robinson knows the power of chiropractic and is using the skills and experience to improve the quality of life for his patients. His goal as a chiropractor is to identify how the body is impacted by daily life events and correct the imbalances which can lead to the early degeneration and increased risk for injury and illness.
Becca Zachwieja earned her master’s degree in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine. While getting her master’s degree, Becca received formal training through the Institute for Functional Medicine, a widely recognized organization that developed many of the primary principles used in modern functional medicine.
Becca’s passion for nutrition comes from her personal experience discovering the power of food to promotes healing and vitality. She believes in a science-based, nutrition-first approach to help patients achieve and maintain optimal health. Becca is passionate about helping people prevent and manage chronic disease through the power of nutrition. She leverages the biochemical and genetic uniqueness of each patient to treat not just symptoms, but the whole person.
Anngela Leone is a board certified acupuncturist and herbalist, licensed by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Anngela completed her education at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, Chicago, after a career as a lawyer.
Anngela offers a healing space and works individually with each patient to address their health concerns and restore natural balance in the body. She sees you as a whole dynamic person and treats the root cause of disease and dysfunction, as well as the symptoms, supporting your physical, mental and emotional well-being.
Anngela treats a wide range of issues, including digestive health, women’s health, allergies, pain, stress and anxiety. She is also a Diplomate in Canonical Chinese Medicine, specializing in a style of herbalism based on the Chinese Han dynasty classics through the Institute of Classics of East Asian Medicine (ICEAM).
