Angela Sellers Gerguis, M.D.

Dr. Angela Gerguis was born and brought up in Knoxville, Tennessee. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in English and Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Tennessee. Then, she went for her medical degree at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, Tennessee, and completed an Accelerated Internship during her fourth year. She did her residency in Family Medicine at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1996.

She began practicing medicine in Baxley, Georgia, and moved to Statesboro, Georgia to practice with her husband, John. Together, they have been practicing since their marriage in 2000.

Dr. Gerguis practices every aspect of Family Medicine for all ages. Apart from providing acute and chronic disease management, she also performs several minor office surgeries. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Hospice & Palliative Medicine.

Dr. Angela Gerguis has been serving as the Medical Director of Ogeechee Area Hospice since 2013 and loves doing so along with her private practice at Total Health.
