ASHLEY SHEA DNP, AGPCNPC

Ashley Shea is a nurse practitioner with experience in private practice, hospital settings, and home care nursing. She joined Lisa Larkin, MD, & Associates in January 2019.

She pursued her DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) degree in December 2018 from the University of Cincinnati with a focus on Adult Geriatric Primary Care. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University.

Ashley completed a rotation with Lisa Larkin, MD, & Associates in early 2018 as a part of her graduate program. She offered all kinds of support to the providers including performing exams, diagnosing, and treating patients. Before the completion of her graduate degree, she served as a telemetry nurse at Mercy Hospital Anderson, where she managed the patients in the cardiovascular and progressive care units. Before opting for her hospital role, she served as Assistant Director of Nursing with Superior Care Plus, a Cincinnati-based home health agency, which offers home health care, memory care, specialized nursing care, and rehabilitation services.

She finds a special interest in caring for geriatric patients and is passionate about the needs of these patients. As a primary care provider, she is a firm believer in patient education and the superior patient-provider relationship. She cares for patients of all ages - from early adulthood through geriatric years.

Being a native Cincinnatian, she lives in the Anderson Township with her husband, Matt, and their two young children.
