Dr. Chadrick Evans earned his undergraduate degree at Illinois State University (ISU) in biochemistry and molecular biology. While attending ISU he was named a Presidential Scholar and graduated magna cum laude.
Dr. Evans received his doctorate of medicine (MD) from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP) where he was named a James Scholar and graduated with honors.
He completed his general surgery residency at UICOMP. Dr. Evans completed a fellowship in surgical critical care at the University of Colorado Hospital/Denver Health in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. Evans is well versed in the latest techniques to care for patients with surgical illnesses.
He has a special interest in minimally invasive techniques, including robotic surgery using the da Vinci robotic system and endocrine surgery, including diseases of the thyroid and parathyroid glands.
In addition to treating patients with general surgery needs, Dr. Evans completed a fellowship in surgical critical care in Denver, Colorado.
There he learned the latest techniques in caring for patients with traumatic and critical illnesses. Dr. Evans looks forward to using his critical care expertise in caring for the residents of Central Illinois who have been critical injured.
Dr. Evans is a native of Central Illinois. He grew up in El Paso, Illinois and now resides in Morton, Illinois with his wife.
When not in the hospital or clinic, you will likely find Dr. Evans enjoying outdoor activities with his wife and two dogs.
